Privacy Policy

Gamesdle (gamesdle.bid) is a public board of daily games. This policy explains what we collect when you visit, play, or pay for a listing, and what we do with it. Questions: hello@gamesdle.bid.

1. Visiting and playing

• You can browse the board and play games without an account. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.
• We count how many times each game is opened or played. These are totals per game, not tied to you.
• Your light or dark mode choice is kept in your browser's local storage and never sent to us.
• RNGdle, our own daily game, sets one cookie when you roll: a random id that links your rolls, streak and badges to this browser. It holds nothing about you. To cap rolls per network we store a hash of your IP address salted with the day, which can't be traced back to the address or linked across days.
• Our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and request details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, and keeps short-lived logs.
• Games on the board are third-party websites. When you play one here, it loads from its own site inside a frame, and that site's own privacy policy applies to it.
• Game icons load from each game's own website.

2. Paying for a listing

• Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe gives us your email address, the amount, and whether the payment succeeded.
• We keep a record of each payment (amount, date, email) and the listing it paid for: its web address, title, description, icon and category. The listing and its total are public; your email is not.
• We use your email to send a receipt with a private link to edit your listing, and alerts when another game moves above yours. Every alert has a one-click link to stop them.

3. Sharing

We share data only with the services that run Gamesdle (Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for hosting, storage and email), or when the law requires it. We don't sell personal data.

4. Keeping and deleting

Payment records are kept as long as the law requires for accounting. To have your email removed from a listing or to ask what we hold about you, write to hello@gamesdle.bid.

5. Children

Paying for a listing is for adults. Gamesdle doesn't knowingly collect personal data from children.

6. Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Significant changes will be noted on the site.
